What Readers are Saying About

Dear Phil:

I enjoy reading the EM Magazine because it gives me a quick overview of the industry trade articles that I probably missed reading myself.  I can pull some notes regarding particular subjects and refer on to particular departments.

I believe it is a quality service to those who take the time to read it and it provides a valuable learning experience to your students, our future employees and co-workers.

Thank you for your guidance and motivation.

Dear students:

I just wanted to share with you the benefits I receive from the weekly newsletters.

This is a great way for me to “scan” through many of the different resources within the industry. With my job at the City, we often deal with a little bit of so many of the different segments (i.e. a little to do with sports, a little in the conference and expo field, a little with music, venues, government involvement with public and private facilities, etc.). The brief synopses are a great way for me to see if I missed anything important, whether there is a trend I need to read up on, or just because everyone within the entertainment industry should have a general knowledge of these different segments.

Good luck with this beneficial project, and thank you for making it available.

Dr. Philip Rothschild,

When I first received the email asking if I wished to join the information newsletter list, I almost deleted the message.  Then I thought, What could it hurt? I am very glad I did join. I find the articles provide a broad representation of information of interest to the entertainment community. Much of the information is not pertinent to me currently, but I pass information onto colleagues. It keeps me updated and interested in aspects of the business I would not normally pay much attention.

Thanks for the information. Keep up the great work!

Dr. Rothschild,

I thought I would take a minute and let you know that I truly enjoy the publication.  I find it useful, informative, interesting, and valuable.

Thanks to you and your students for making it available to me.

Dear Students,

I am fortunate to be able to see these abstracts from day one of its implementation.  I can honestly say that the EM News Update has continually improved, from the structure of the update all the way up to the news summaries.  Keep up the good work!  This is a great deed that you all are doing, and I think that you are going to find out that I am not the only one who thinks this.

Good luck EM students and majors!!!

Dr. Rothschild,

I just want to add my thanks to all of the others you are probably receiving for these news updates.  While I come across some of the same information in my own reading, there is no other way to get the wide cross-section of news that this provides.  Your students are to be commended for their efforts.  I would imagine it also helps them to learn about this industry just as well, or even better than, yet another seminar class!

Dear EM Students:

I like the concise nature of the information. The articles reach across a wide gamut and are great. Thank you and keep up the good work!
